What's new in Golify

New capabilities and thoughtful improvements, collected in one place.

Settings

Give an employee only the customers they handle

An employee can now be limited to an explicit list of customers. Everything they open — orders, containers, quotations, payments, reports and exports — shows only those customers. Existing employees keep full access until you change them.

Improved

Platform

Connection messages now appear in your language

When a request times out or the connection drops, Golify explains what happened. Those few messages were still written in English for everyone; they are translated now, like the rest of the app.

Platform

The What's new card is easier to read

The card that announces a release was laying its text out in half the space and leaving the rest empty. It now uses the full width, sits in the corner instead of across the bottom, and shows any video or image above the text rather than squeezed beside it.

Platform

See what's new in Golify

Browse every release inside Golify, and get one relevant announcement when new capabilities become available to you.

Improved

Platform

The account menu uses the whole screen instead of scrolling

The menu under your name no longer scrolls inside itself on a normal screen, and What's new now sits just above Log out.

Warehouse

Warehouse items page

See everything held in a warehouse in one place, with the quantities on hand and where each item came from.

Containers

Record shipping charges in the currency they were billed in

A shipping charge is entered in the currency the company actually billed, and the currencies you have used with that company follow from the charges themselves — there is nothing to set up first.

Orders

Give a discount on an order at your own cost

Apply a discount the customer sees without changing what the supplier is owed. The difference is recorded against you, so the accounts stay right.

Containers

Give a discount on a container at your own cost

The same self-funded discount as on orders, applied to a container, with the shortfall booked to your own account rather than the customer’s balance.

Orders

Add free items to an order

An item can be free from the supplier, free to the customer, or both. It moves through receiving and shipping like any other item, and the accounts follow what you entered — a free line to the customer against a real cost is booked as a loss.

Settings

Label individual records

Define your own labels and put one on an order, container, quotation or item, then filter your lists by it — useful for marking a batch, a season, or anything the built-in fields do not cover.

Accounting

Manual journal entries

Post an accounting entry by hand against the eligible accounts, for what the normal flows do not create, with the same balance checks as every other journal. Entries can be reversed rather than deleted.

Platform

Report a problem with one click

When something fails you can send us the details with one button, and most failures also show a short support code to quote. No screenshots, and nothing to describe.

Orders

Choose which languages the item-import template carries

Pick which supported languages the downloaded template includes name columns for — your working language by default — and the sheet totals itself as you fill it, so the numbers are checked before the file reaches the system.

Settings

Choose and reorder the columns on your lists

Wherever a list offers the Columns control, you can choose which columns it shows and in what order. Your choice follows you across devices, and on many of those lists an owner can set the layout everyone starts from.
